One-year remembrance

Alkarim's one-year remembrance will consist of:
- A short prayer service (approximately 15 minutes) at his gravesite, followed by
- A full buffet lunch at a downtown hotel, where we can informally exchange our stories and memories of Al.
Everyone who knows and loves Al is welcome to attend.
We just need to know how many of you will be there, so that we can arrange for sufficient space and catering. Please RSVP below no later than Sunday August 20, 2023.
Prayer service
Date and Time: Saturday August 26, 2023 at 12:30 PM
Location: Royal Oak Burial Park, 4673 Falaise Drive, Victoria BC.

While the service will be brief, it will be outdoors, so please dress for the weather. We hope that it will be sunny, but if not, please bring an umbrella in case it is needed.
Lunch
Following the service, Merge will host a lunch at which you are welcome to informally share your stories and memories of Al. There is no dress code, please dress comfortably, Merge just wants to remember Al with you.
Date and Time: Saturday August 26, 2023; 1 PM to 5 PM.
Lunch will be served when everyone returns from the cemetery.
